Frequently Asked Questions
We know you have questions. Not just questions about cocktail recipes and recent offers, but also about the company, our gin, and botanicals.

We're happy to help in any way we can (no promises, there's a limit to our capabilities) so take a look through our FAQs that we've put together for you.
1
Who makes [Prototype] Gin so special?
Usually, people ask 'what' makes it so special, but really, it's the experts and aficionados who come together to work on [Prototype] gin that makes it so special. The co-founders scoured two continents in search of the best process and botanicals.
Our unique liquid can only be achieved using honey from bees that live and work on the High Line in New York City, and then distilled by our award-winning experts in the UK. This is why we are a London dry gin with a New York twist. Nothing else (that we have found yet) comes close, and we hope you too can taste the difference too.
2
Why do you only produce in small batches?
[Prototype] gin is produced in small batches because its the only way we can maintain our level of quality. This gin is different from what you will generally find on store shelves. It's a one-shot gin, ie it's not diluted with ethanol to generate more quantity. As a result, [Prototype] retains the natural oils and flavors that we’ve spent so long curating. The natural oils coat you throat, giving you a smooth taste from a liquid you can enjoy neat.
3
What is the best way to enjoy [Prototype] Gin?
It depends on your preference and mood but we suggest that you try it neat first. I prefer to use a heavy chilled crystal glass and pour [Prototype] Gin over a large square ice cube, My co-founder prefers it as a dry Martini with a twist of lemon. In both cases the key sentiment is to enjoy [Prototype] Gin with little or no external influences, that way you get the full experience.
4
Where can I buy [Prototype] Gin?
[Prototype] Gin is currently only available in the UK through our website - we are working hard to bring it to market through other venues so stay tuned for any news.
5
When can I get my first taste once I've ordered?
We ship directly from our distillery. Typically delivery is 3-5 business days. You can select and pay for next day delivery - simply select this option at checkout. If you order before 2pm you will get delivery the next day, however if you order afterwards, you will get your delivery in 2 days.
